About
Viswa Manava Vedika

Who we are

Viswa Manava Vedika is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting abandoned, destitute, and homeless elderly individuals who have no access to basic care or family support. For over a decade, the organization has been operating a free old age home and community outreach programs in West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, providing shelter, food, healthcare, and emotional care to those in need.

Across many communities, a growing number of elderly individuals are being left behind—without financial support, medical access, or even basic human care. Many are forced to live on streets, depend on uncertain food sources, and face severe loneliness and neglect.

Viswa Manava Vedika exists to address this critical gap. The organization intervenes where families, systems, and society fall short, ensuring that no elderly individual is forced to live or die in abandonment. The focus is not just survival, but restoring dignity, security, and a sense of belonging.

The organization provides structured and consistent support through its residential and outreach programs. At its core is the free old age home, where residents are given safe accommodation, daily nutritious meals, and round-the-clock care in a clean and supportive environment.

In addition to residential care, the organization runs the Nitya Annadanam program, a daily food distribution initiative that has been serving meals continuously for over 10 years. This program ensures that elderly individuals, differently-abled persons, and other vulnerable groups in surrounding areas receive reliable access to fresh and nutritious food.

Viswa Manava Vedika has created measurable impact through consistent, long-term service. It supports elderly individuals with daily meals and structured care through a dedicated facility.
Focused on continuity over one-time efforts, the organization operates with reliable systems, committed volunteers, and scalable service delivery.
